We worked with a high-achieving student who had a strong academic profile and was focused on applying to top 50 universities. Through our initial consultations, we helped the student define a clear set of priorities — including academic programs, campus culture, location, and career goals — which led to a broad list of over 40 potential schools.
Through thoughtful conversations and strategic planning, we refined the list to a well-balanced group of 16 final choices, including a mix of reach, target, and likely schools. The student was ultimately accepted to 50% of the colleges she applied to, including direct admission to the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin–Madison — one of the top 25 business programs in the country.

This student’s journey is a powerful example of determination and resilience. Coming from humble beginnings, he recognized early on that education would be the key to creating a better future. Throughout high school, he pushed himself academically, enrolling in the most rigorous courses available and supplementing his studies with community college classes — all in preparation for pursuing a competitive major in Computer Science.
Working together, we developed a balanced college list that included several top 25 universities. His hard work paid off with multiple offers from Tier 1 institutions, and he ultimately chose the University of Michigan — a world-class school with an outstanding Computer Science program.

This talented student-athlete drew interest from a number of Division II and III basketball programs thanks to his skills on the court and strong academic record. The most challenging part of his journey was determining the right fit — one that would support both his athletic ambitions and his long-term academic goals, including his plan to attend law school.
With academics as a top priority, we carefully evaluated each opportunity, weighing factors such as playing time, scholarship offers, financial aid, and the overall campus experience. After thoughtful consideration of all options — including a Division II scholarship — he ultimately chose Tufts University, where he’ll compete in the highly respected NESCAC conference.
This choice reflects the best of both worlds: a top-tier academic environment and the chance to continue playing the sport he loves at a high level. We’re excited to see all he’ll accomplish, on the court and beyond.

As a California native, staying in the western half of the country was a priority, and the University of Oregon quickly rose to the top of his list.
With a strong academic record and a well-rounded application, he not only earned admission to Oregon but was also awarded a merit scholarship in recognition of his outstanding high school performance. Today, he's thriving both academically and socially — and proudly “throws his O” as a Duck.
